I read some reviews that said this blender's motor is too weak, but I have not found that to be the case at all. Very fiberous items like frozen pineapple blend with ease, and so does ice, as long as the cubes aren't too large.
It's easy to use, virtually no cleanup, powerful enough to get the job done, and takes up virtually no space in the cupboard. The downside is that you can't make a gallon of frozen margaritas in it, but that's what big blenders are for!

I read a lot of reviews before ordering this. I had already been making daily smoothies in my full-size blenders and clean-up was just a pain. So I wanted something smaller. After reading the reviews I opted for this one. It works just as well as it claims. I did find that I had to take the cup off and shake it up a bit to get things from the top blended but that may also be a matter of putting the heavier (like banana) things at the top instead of the bottom when putting the items in. My one complaint is that I wish the cups were wider. I found that I was blending some then putting more in to get the full amount. Also, because of the size of the cups (tall and narrow instead of shorter and wider) I don't think I would drink directly out of the 24oz cup. It's too long for a straw and I find that most smoothies drink better with a straw.

With this personal blender I can toss any fruit and veggie (frozen or not) into it, along with some ice and in under a minute I'm sitting on the sofa with my feet up. Many of my favorite fruits and veggies are purchased frozen and ready when I am. Bananas can be frozen by first peeling them and putting them whole in a bag. They last a long time.
So far my favorite recipe is one apple, one handfull of frozen black berries, some frozen blue berries, frozen baby carrots, almonds, OJ and ice. The combinations are endless. This personal blender sure beats grabbing a can of pop out of the frig.

The blend quality in this machine is amazing. I've used it to make frozen drinks, smoothies, and to blend my eggs to make scrambled eggs. This blender does not leave any left over hunks of ice or fruit to clog your straw up. Ice is blended to a fine consistency. Much finer than I was used to with my old blender.
Powders and oils are not a problem. If you have some powder that seems to have clumped into a corner while you were putting the ingredients in, just shake it up a bit like a carton of milk before you blend it. Flaxseed oil even gets completely mixed up in the mixture during blending.
I had bought the 24oz container since my smoothies always seemed to fill up that much space after blending. It turns out that most of that volume was air. All of my ingredients fit inside the 16oz container, and since the container is closed airtight while it is blending, it prevents the mixture from pulling in excess air. Now I don't have issues with smoothie burps :)
The 8oz containers are perfect for blending eggs. You can blend everything with the eggs, and it comes out looking like the pre-blended varieties you can buy in cartons at the store. The eggs cook nice and fluffy just like I bought them at a restaurant.
I highly recommend this blender.
