I have been using the GlowPanel 45s for some time and I couldn't be happier. I started my peppers and tomatoes indoors and moved half of the seedlings to my outdoor garden in late spring. The plants that remained indoors are growing just as fast as the ones that were transplanted to the outside garden but the plants under the LEDs are much bushier and fuller. The plants outside were taller. The plants that remained indoors were compact and very full and produce more flowers/fruit than the outdoor plants. I have also used my GlowPanels to perk up houseplants that are in need of light. These things are great.

I received the grow lights in good condition but one burned out when I accidentally jiggled the plug in the outlet trying to unplug it, because there is no switch. You have to plug it in or unplug it to turn it off. I contacted the manufacturer to try and purchase a new power converter but have received no response.

I am disappointed with the size of the grow light. I am starting veggies and this light only shines on half of a standard long tray. So I have to move the tray left and right to get all the plants some light throughout the day.

If you purchase this grow light, plug it into a power strip so you have a switch to turn it on and off without unplugging it. Its a huge help.

I live in an apartment in Brooklyn and have only indirect light. I started with one growlight, but when I saw how my hibiscus tree flowered and how the agave plants responded, I ordered a second and am now also growing comfrey, and 3 pots of gerbera flowers. The agave (boutin blue) are growing broad leaves, as they do in California. All plants turn towards these lights and I am thrilled with the results. Also, the lights are cool so my cat can sit in the window and not suffer. A big thanks to GlowPanel for allowing us to grow and enjoy healthy plants. With a little more time I plan to turn part of my office into a small jungle.

These light panels have served me well. I don't know if they really cover a 5 by 5 growing area adequately like they claim to.

The plants under these seem to grow just a fast as plants under sunlight in my 3 by 3 grow area. the only difference is that with these the plants grow shorter with dense foilage. they dont seem to be reaching out toward the light as much. I grew the most bushy tomato plant i have ever seen. i could barely reach through it to get the tomatoes out.

I've only been a hobbying gardener for a few months now. I germinated my very first plants this summer and did not want to see them die over the winter, so I splurged on this grow light panel. I have no frame of reference to compare this to other than direct sunlight. From my experience, my few plants seem to grow faster under this light than they did outside! I actually set this up in my fireplace (has arusted flue, so I used it as an indoor greenhouse instead). My coffees, aloe, and avocados love this light. Even the ficus bonsai and the better established coffees sitting on the hearth have to be rotated to keep from growing too far towards this! I'm considering getting another one to use in the garage for my larger daisies throughout the winter. They're heartier, so I can keep them in the cooler garage, but it's not well-lit. I'll see if my wife will let me splurge on another panel!

I bought this light hoping to continue growing my fresh herbs through the winter. They had stopped growing and a couple of them were dying. I started using the light overnight and within 3 days, the dying plants were as good as new and I had tons of new growth on all of the plants. I have the light hanging 24" above 10 - 8" pots and it is working equally well on all of them. I'm going to get more lights and start growing spinach and other vegetables through the winter as well.

I ordered this with intentions of over wintering my Bhut Jolokia's in my basement while moving from sunny Miami Beach to Northern, MN. however the temperature difference went from high 90s to the low 60s in my basement. The plants are actually growing and producing peppers w this light. I am very impressed and would recommend it to anyone who wants to grow a few plants. I also have the 14 and it worked great to, I bought the bigger one because I went from 2 to 6 plants. The 14 is great for starting seeds.

I have been using this product for about a month. I am an avid orchid grower and this is wonderful for my low light orchids. I have noticed a difference in the growing speed and blooming of my orchids already. I love the option to connect many panels together without having multiple plugs. I cannot wait to see if there is a huge difference in the electric bills as well! The other great thing is that they barely kick off and overheat. So now it is easy to gage temperatures around my temperamental orchids. Thanks for the great product!
