With Thanksgiving in a couple days, cranberries are all over at the market. Take advantage of this healthy tart fruit and juice a holiday signature cocktail!
Health Benefits of Cranberries
If you’re a lady, then I’m sure you’ve enjoyed cranberry juice at one point in your life to help combat those irritating bladder and urinary tract infections. Did you know they also help out with kidney stones?! Cranberries can also deodorize your urine.
This little red fruit contains loads of antioxidants which are our super cancer fighters. Cranberries are a source of essential vitamins, and minerals, like Vitamin-C, Folic Acid, and Calcium. They also contain key Vitamins E and K (for beauty) and B6 (for that holiday stress!)
Freshly Juiced Cranberry Cocktail Recipes!
Wash and dry your cranberries. Sort through the cranberries removing any green ones and the overly ripe mushy ones. You’ll want your berries to be firm and ripe in color. Process your cranberries through your juicer.
If you’d like your juice a little sweeter, feel free to add some sugar, truvia, stevia or spelnda. If you’d like to save some cranberry juice for a later date, fill up mason jars ¾ full, and freeze.
