Great motor, awful blender container... I love my new Jack LaLanne blender. It does an awesome job on blending my food into a smooth creamy smoothie-style meal. The downside of the purchase of this blender is the blender container. The blade assembly does not hold up and in a short time begins to leak. Please pray that Jack LaLanne finds a way to make good on this blender by making available replacement containers.

Very Disappointed-Deceptively Poor Quality Even though VitaMix was our first choice, we purchased the JLL HealthMaster 100 about 6 months ago because of the claims of durability made by Mr. LaLane in his infomercials in a less costly package. Initially it did a wonderful job. After a little time we began to wonder about it's claim of durability. It began evidencing rusting and a black soot like substance around the gear and pad area. Today while using it ball bearing began flying out and it simply froze. We have admired Mr. L. for many years. However, his credibility level in my wife's and my eyes has fallen through the basement. We would have at least thought that the unit would be around with improvements, and so on. It just goes to prove that longevity does not translate into honesty.

Not worth trying My mother purchased the Health Master for me. The first 6-8 time I used the machine, it smelled like something was burning. I figured the machine was new and it was probably just some particles and it would stop. The problem did not end there. When I took the container off, I noticed it was dripping. Since the unit is self-contained, there was no way for me to tighten anything up to stop the leak. I have now gone back to my $30 blender which has never given me a problem.

JACK LALANNE'S MIXER/JUICER WE ARE VERY MUCH DISAPPOINTED IN THIS ITEM. AFTER A FEW USES, THE BOTTOM OF THE CONTAINER STARTED RUSTING, LEAKING AND PUTTING OFF A DARK RUSTY POWDER SUBSTANCE. ALSO WE WOULD SMELL A BURNING TYPE ODOR AS WELL. WE WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE. WE FEEL WE HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF --SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO WITH THE VITA-MIX.

Wished I had listen to my wife and had gotten vitamix After about a month the machine started leaking black dust from the rubber washer flying everywhere.

Very Dissapointed- Poor Quality I loved this blender when I got it. It produced awesome results when we blended smoothies. However, within 3 months, like the previous reviewers, it the pitcher started leaking, and thus began rusting the gear components, and then all the rust began clogging the gears. It is no longer usable after 3 months, because it leaked all over the counter, then the blade got stuck in rust, and now it won't turn at all. Are they serious that there are no replacement parts? Not that I want to waste my good money again.
