| There are two types of juicers on the market today. Centrifugal and masticating (meaning to crush and squeeze). The main benefit of a masticating juicer is that it crushes the fruits and vegetables as opposed to shredding them as your average centrifugal juicer does.

Do not be misled by the low price of the Healthy Juicer. All parts of the juicer are made of tough Polycarbonate (Lexan) which is practically indestructible. The parts of the juicer that receives the most force (the tip of auger and the inside of the end cap) are made of stainless steel. All materials used in the Healthy Juicer are FDA approved.
